MY COURSES
FROM WOODLANDS IN WALES AND PRIVATE ALLOTMENTS TO THE ARCTIC CIRCLE, I’M HAPPY TO TEACH BOTH IN AND OUT OF THE CLASSROOM.
WHAT SETS ME APART?
I HAVE 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE in teaching across a range of subjects and learners. I did 15 years in state secondary as a teacher of Art & Design. This taught me a vast amount about preparing and pitching lessons to all manner of abilities and learning types. All of this experience insures you’ll have an engaging and productive time at my workshops, irrespective of whether you’re an audio, visual or kinaesthetic learner.
I’m also an active practitioner in both illustration and green woodwork. I have illustrated 11 published book, exhibited internationally and been shortlisted for several major art prizes. Feel free to view my artist CV here.
WHAT DO I OFFER?
My most common workshops are ‘spoon carving for beginners’ and ‘an introduction to sketchbook keeping’. These range from 2 hour to full day sessions, but I’m very flexible with timing and locations and I’m always happy to chat through a bespoke workshop. Alternative Stag-Do activities, one-to-one birthday gifts, feel free to get in touch and I’ll endeavour to make it happen.
